远方-萧芸安的城市音乐故事

这是一部听觉的公路电影，也是旅人送给你的祝福礼物。

因思念而展开的旅程，旅人从台北出发，经香港到无锡再到上海。

在四座城市之中经历了期盼、失落与迷惘，
最后回归自我，寻找到最初却更完整的自己。

这一份旅程的心情记录，是旅人为思念所写下的旅行日记，
是旅人和自我的对话，也是旅人和城市的对话。

「好久不见，我从有你的城市旅行回来了，你好吗?」

旅行，从来都可以是趟疗愈的过程，
唯有先自我疗愈，才能将爱与祝福传递到更多的远方，
而属于旅人的旅程，才真正开始。

关于《远方》萧芸安的城市音乐故事 A Friend From Afar.

包含八首词曲创作、三首插曲、两首演奏音乐及七段故事旁白，为一张以城市、旅行、生命追寻为核心主题的概念性音乐专辑。

音乐皆以各种在城市里行走与移动的速度编写，以真实乐器做简约不插电的编曲，仿造电影配乐的母题创作模式，赋予每样乐器意义，各在故事中扮演不同的角色。

专辑曲目亦结合声音设计，加入大量真实的城市声音景观，塑造旅途中的真实感，希望让听众有身历其境的感受，如同以听觉欣赏了一部公路电影。

一趟因思念而展开的旅程，旅人在旅途中用声音写下日记，向思念的对象表述感情，也像是与自我对话、与城市对话。

整张专辑是部个人的、私密的心情记录，为了营造此私密感，专辑制作方向在最后的混音后制，经过特殊的考虑设计：

专为数字行动装置耳机聆听而设计的一张专辑，呈现每种乐器最真实纯净的声音状态，并将Vocal处理得自然细腻且贴近，一戴上耳机，就像是旅人亲密地在你耳边说话、唱歌或是吐露旅程中的心情呢喃。

邀请听众，用一部电影的时间，戴上一副耳机，静静地闭上眼，跟着旅人的声音日记，一同前往远方。回程时再带上这些歌，在你的城市、你的旅程，创造出属于自己的城市音乐故事。

A Friend From Afar.

《A Friend From Afar》 Sllen a.N Hsiao's Aural Road Movie

I am a musician and sound artist from Taipei, Taiwan.
In the winter of 2011, I started a series of travelling in Taiwan and China.
During this journey, the sceneries as well as the conversation with the local people inspired me a lot.

Therefore, I decided to carry out a creative-collaborated project which concerns with the relationship between the cities and people.

I use the smart phone to record some real sounds in these cities: Taipei, Hong Kong, Wuxi, Shanghai.

I combined these sound materials with my own composition and arranged them in a story-telling way to create a musical road movie.

From Now on I will travel around more cities, being a story-teller and tell more things about our journey of life -- the meaning of life, self-healing, stories of appreciation and blessing.
